Two More Modules Finished
I just finished up the Upload Module and the special Device Module, which will keep track of multiple phone profiles. Currently I still need to finish the plug-in framework and the Video Module. If you’ve been waiting for the next release, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed…

300,000 Ringtones Served!
I just want to say thank you to all the registered users who have helped AudioGizmo serve over 300,000 free MP3 ringtones in a little over a year. While I am extremely pleased with how our user base has grown, I fully expect us to reach 1,000,000 ringtone downloads by the end of next year – a truly amazing number!

Progress Updates
So far our beta testers have been very good at finding inconsistencies and bugs, and we are very pleased with how the process is going. I know many of you are getting a little impatient with the lack of a release, so as we prepare for launch I will be posting screenshots and “sneak peeks” of our latest builds of Ringtone Creator 3. First up, here’s a shot of the new wallpaper interface (continued after the jump…).

New Version in Beta Testing
The newest version will begin beta testing next week - over 400 users will receive the latest version as it becomes available. We have rewritten much of the web portion of the service, and bugs still do remain, but we hope to have them all worked out by the end of November at the latest. Please frequent AudioGizmo.com to see its status.

Version 2.0.4 Released - Startup Bug is Fixed!
A bug that wouldn’t even allow Ringtone Creator to open has now been resolved in the latest version. You can grab it using the Download.com link to the left. We’re very sorry that this issue took so long to resolve. The problem was actually in a third-party audio library that Ringtone Creator uses to fix input audio in the wrong format. Let us know if other issues still exist.

AudioGizmo Errors
The latest version of Ringtone Creator has a bug that does not allow execution at all on some systems. This is due to an upload mistake and we should have everything resolved within 24 hours. Those who have purchased the application and cannot use it should contact us immediately. Thank you for understanding.

Server Transition Finished
I did some house-cleaning so some things were deleted, but overall the server transition went smoothly. Development is behind schedule for the latest version due to factors beyond my control. There will, however, be a new version out fairly soon.

Server Move In Effect
AudioGizmo has just been moved over to a new hosting environment, so please bear with me as I work out all the kinks. Ringtone uploads should not be affected by this move.

Coming Soon: Bug Reporting
There are many things going on here at AudioGizmo.com. First and foremost, we will be launching a bug reporting and tracking feature to the site to let our users suggest new features and report bugs independent of email. This will allow anybody to see what is in active development and what has been placed on hold. More news when it becomes available…
